Privacy Policy
PodGlue respects your trust and your data.
This privacy policy explains how PodGlue collects, uses, and shares information when you use the website, dashboard, or AI assistants. It applies to all PodGlue products unless otherwise noted.
Effective date: May 9, 2026 · Last updated: May 17, 2026
Information we collect
We collect the information you share directly, the data generated by your workspace activity, and quality signals from the services you use. This enables PodGlue to keep everything running smoothly and securely.
- Account details, profile information, and billing data you provide when you sign up or update your PodGlue workspace.
- Usage data such as feature interactions, device details, and performance logs that help us monitor and stabilize the service.
- Content you upload, invitees you share with, and AI-generated assets that you ask PodGlue to create or store.
How we use your information
PodGlue turns conversations into assets, which requires working with your inputs and metadata transparently. We never sell your personal data to third parties for their independent use, advertising, or profiling.
- Deliver PodGlue services, process your requests, and keep your workspace secure.
- Improve and personalize the experience, surface relevant AI suggestions, and power analytics dashboards.
- Respond to communications, notify you about updates, and respect your marketing preferences.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect PodGlue and our community from abuse.
Cookies & tracking
PodGlue uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential cookies — required to keep you signed in and your workspace secure. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — set by PostHog so we can understand how PodGlue is used and fix what's broken. You can decline these in our cookie banner or by enabling Do Not Track in your browser.
- Local storage — used to remember your preferences (e.g. dismissed banners, filter selections) on your device only. Never sent to our servers.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.

Data retention & security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide PodGlue services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Technical safeguards like encryption, access controls, and monitoring help keep your data safe.
Your rights
PodGlue is committed to making it easy to control your information.
- Review or update the information PodGlue holds about you.
- Request deletion or export of your data where applicable.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you specific rights regarding your personal information.
- Right to Know — You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, and the business purposes for collecting it.
- Right to Delete — You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., completing a transaction, legal obligations).
- Right to Correct — You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing (Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information) — PodGlue does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing to opt out of, but you may contact us to confirm this at any time.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Note on analytics: PodGlue uses PostHog for product analytics. PostHog operates as a service provider under CCPA § 1798.140 — it processes usage data solely on PodGlue's behalf and is contractually prohibited from using it for its own commercial purposes or selling it to third parties. This relationship does not constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information under California law.
To exercise your California rights, email us at support@podglue.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days as required by law.
Email Sending on Behalf of Hosts
PodGlue hosts can compose and send emails to guests directly from the platform. Here's how this works:
- When a host sends an introduction or outreach email, it is transmitted from PodGlue's domain (hello@app.podglue.com) for reliability and deliverability.
- The host's email address is automatically set as the Reply-To header, so all guest replies go directly to the host's personal email inbox — PodGlue never receives or sees those replies.
- PodGlue only stores a log of sent emails (recipient names, subject, and timestamp) for the host's own records. The email body text is not stored by PodGlue.
- Guests receiving these emails can reply directly to the host by clicking Reply or by using the Reply-To address in the email header.
- PodGlue does not monitor, process, or access any email communication between the host and guest after the email is sent.
Third-party links & updates
Our site may link to external services that have their own privacy policies. PodGlue is not responsible for those choices. When we update this notice, we will post the revised policy on this page and, if appropriate, notify you in product.
